Chryssa and Lyle’s wedding at Dog Cree Lodge with an elevated and effortless vibe

Chryssa and Lyle came all the way from Hawaii for their Dog Creek Lodge wedding! They actually planned the entire thing in three weeks. Yes, three weeks.

Lyle’s family actually owns Dog Creek Lodge, so what started as a simple family vacation to Montana quickly turned into something much bigger. With everyone already planning to be there, they realized…why not get married while they had all their favorite people in one place? They invited a handful of close friends and family, shifted gears, and got to planning!

If anyone could pull off a wedding in that short of a timeline, it was Chryssa! She’s a wedding and event planner in Hawaii (check out her company, JXC Events here!, so this was completely in her wheelhouse. Alongside her business partner Jonah, they brought everything together so seamlessly!  The design felt elevated and intentional. Sleek black and white details, unique curved caterpillar tables, that created such an elevated, editorial feel that felt so fresh in a Montana setting! One of my favorite details was her neck scarf, which added the perfect, effortless touch to her bridal look.

 Dog Creek Lodge is one of my favorite spots for a wedding. The property has cozy cabins for guests to stay on-site, which makes the whole weekend feel intimate and relaxed. And the open field with sweeping mountain views? Absolute perfection!

As if planning everything in three weeks wasn’t enough, Chryssa also designed and created all of the florals herself…she truly can do it all!
