I am so thrilled to share Lindsay and Cordell’s Glacier Park Lodge Wedding from last summer! This wedding was a seamless blend of scenery, culture, and intention from start to finish.
Lindsay grew up in Montana but now calls New York City home, which is where she met Cordell! From the very beginning, their vision for the day was to bring together the places and cultures that shaped them. The result was a celebration that wove together the natural beauty of Montana, the energy of NYC, and meaningful cultural elements from Cordell’s Jamaican background.
Lindsay and Cordell are both creatives and they weren’t focused on perfectly posed moments or rigid timelines. They cared most about how the day felt. They wanted their photos to reflect the real energy of the day: more of a documentary feel, which is where I thrive!
The day started with getting ready at the Glacier Park Lodge, tucked right on the edge of Glacier National Park. This spot is one of my favorite venues for a larger wedding near Glacier! You are minus away from Glacier National Park, and the Lodge itself is so historical and stunning! Cordell and Lindsay had their first look out on the lawn, where they spent a few moments together before the day really got going.
After their first look, we headed into the Two Medicine area of Glacier National Park for portraits. We were planning to go to Pray Lake, but literal minutes before we left, they closed the entrance to the Two Medicine Valley due to too much traffic! Of course we had plan B ready to go, so I took them to one of my favorite little spots in the area. It was the perfect backdrop for their portraits together!

I captured their day on both film and digital, which added such a timeless layer to their gallery. There’s something about film that just hits differently! It’s so soft and nostalgic and gives me all the feels! I think their film ended up being some of my favorite that I’ve ever shot!
After portraits, we headed back to the Lodge for their ceremony. It was a HOT and sunny day, so we found little areas to shade and air conditioning to hang out at while we waited on guest arrivals.
And then… one of the most iconic moments of the entire day!
Lindsay rode into the ceremony in one of the historic red Glacier National Park red cars! And it was just as iconic as it sounds. There’s nothing like those vintage red cars, and it added such a unique and memorable touch to their Glacier Park Lodge Wedding!

Lindsay and Cordell created the perfect combination of Montana scenery, NYC-inspired style, and vibrant Jamaican (Cordell’s heritage!) cultural influence for their wedding day that felt completely one-of-a-kind.
Lindsay and Cordell’s Glacier Park Lodge Wedding was the perfect reflection of them as a couple! Such a beautiful reminder that your wedding day doesn’t have to look like anyone else’s. You can create a day that truly reflects YOU! If you are looking for a photographer for your Glacier National Park wedding, I would love to chat with you!
