Golden hour Polebridge Montana engagement session

I am beyond excited to share this stunning summertime Polebridge Montana engagement session! Jordan and Tyler chose to have their engagement photos  done while visiting Glacier National Park last June, and their session could not have been more magical!

When Jordan first reached out, I sent over a list of my favorite engagement session locations within the park. I was so excited when she picked a combination of Lake McDonald and Polebridge—two of the best spots in the park!

We started Jordan and Tyler’s engagement session at Lake McDonald, near Apgar Village. Jordan wore a flow-y yellow dress that perfectly complemented the blues of the lake and the mountain backdrop! Sophie at Sieh Beauty worked her magic on Jordan’s makeup and she looked absolutely stunning!

Since it was a busy summer day and the waterline was high (typical for June), we searched for a more secluded area—and found the perfect little spot for their photos!  

After wrapping up at Lake McDonald, we jumped in the car and made our way to Polebridge, one of my favorite areas in Glacier National Park! It is way less crowded than other areas of the park and it is filled with wide-open fields with stunning mountain views. The drive up there can be a bit rough with the roads, but trust me—it’s more than worth it!

Of course, no trip to Polebridge is complete without a stop at the Polebridge Mercantile for a yummy baked good! Their huckleberry bear claws are my favorite and are a must if you’re in the area. After grabbing a few for myself and my family, we set off to explore.

We seriously timed everything so perfectly with the sunset! The golden hues of sunset were so stunning. Just when we thought the evening couldn’t get any better, the sky exploded with some of the most epic clouds I’ve ever seen—shades of orange, red, yellow, and purple lit up the sky! We stayed later than planned just to take advantage of the stunning sky in their photos.

It was the perfect way to end this magical Polebridge Montana engagement session and I feel so honored to have captured these memories for Jordan and Tyler!
